"Forgot how good this place was. Not sure if it was the manager or owner, but he was making sure everyone eating was taken care of. Food was fresh and on point. Wife's chicken Fried Steak was freshly made and had a great flavor. My steak Ranchero was also very good."

"Perfect othentic Mexican food. We ordered sweet tea and the waitress came back with soup. My friend came back from the restroom asked if the soup was free.lol I said you wanted real Mexican food you should speak the language. LOL. We both ordered the deluxe combo plate myself with flour torteas he had the corn. Well I don't know what when wrong but 1 order was wrong. That all don't matter it all was delicious. The chips were made right there and were hot at the table. 2 thumbs up"

"The food is good and price is decent. Portion size of the plates are generous. The cheeseburger was huge and delicious.Breakfast plate was good as well. I usually eat breakfast plates, so not sure about the other dishes. The atmosphere is laid back, and music is usually classic 70s,-80s mellow. Only complaint- I think they were short staffed because it took a long time for a waitress to come to our table, and we had to eventually flag her down. She was not very attentive and forgot our silverware and drink refills. I've been here before and usually dont have that problem though."

"Honestly, if you read half the reviews of this place, you might be scared to go, but, my wife and I went and we'd go again. The place does feel a little old. The building feels old and it shows when you look at the ceiling and it's air vents. I wouldn't call the seating the most comfortable at all but I've seen worse. The food is pretty basic...Tex-Mex. They gave us chips and a sopa to start off. The chips were nice and hot...not too oily. The salsa was also warm and tasted fresh, not too spicy but not watered down. The sopa had a nice flavor to it and was definitely eaten. My wife ordered herself a caldo Tlalpeno and I had fajita tacos with enchiladas. The food I would say is average. My wife's caldo had plenty of cheese, avocado, and chicken...but was lacking in the presentation. My wife enjoyed her caldo but it was nothing extraordinary. I would say the same for my tacos. Honestly, the meat didn't feel like actual fajita. The meat was cooked well but there was no BANG when biting into it. The tortillas are hand made so that was a plus. The enchiladas were good...the rice and beans were lacking. The rice felt a little hard and the beans needed maybe a little more salt or a touch of lard...yes, I said lard, for flavor. I'd give this place 3 stars...but my wife went on a different day without me and had their mole...and simply raved about how delicious their mole is... So I'll give it 4 stars. If you go...get their mole, my wife definitely recommends it."

"Amazing!!! Can't stress it enough. It's just amazing!! Staff service and food. It is very rare to find a restaurant that every time I come by it's always great. I've been coming here for many years and no one can beat their service and hospitality.."

"The corner restaurant in a strip plaza with a huge bbq pit in the parking lot. We decided to give it try. A lot of pick up orders leaving while we waited for our order to go. We ordered a catfish special, Mexican special and three chalupas. Each plate came in a aluminum tray. Chalupas were good. The Mexican special was enough to feed two people and the catfish plate was good. Service was very good and attentive. If any critics, it would be to fry the catfish and french fries a few more minutes."

"When you eat there you get chips and salsa, and a little cup of pasta shells soup, very good."
